Since its release 1 year ago, the movie God’s Not Dead has been a definite success. In the movie, atheist Professor Radisson demands that the students in his class sign a paper stating that God is dead. Upon refusing to do so, freshman Josh Wheaton is faced with the task of proving to his fellow students that God in fact is not dead. Starring the Newsboys, Shane Harper, and Willie and Korie Robertson, God’s Not Dead demonstrates the importance of believing in God, and being willing to take a stand for our faith.

After the release and success of God’s Not Dead, the CEO of Pureflix announced the spring 2015 release date for the movie Do You Believe (which features Newsboy’s hit song We Believe, and can now be viewed in theaters), and speculated about the released date for God’s Not Dead 2. If you’ve enjoyed God’s Not Dead, you’ll be happy to know that more specifics regarding the release date of God’s Not Dead 2 have been announced! At their concert at Elmbrook church, part of the We Believe God’s Not Dead tour, Newsboys declared that God’s Not Dead 2 will be coming out in the spring of 2016!
